There are some things in life that are nice to be able to take comfort in: food on the table, a roof over your head, a safe place to learn, and being around people that love you, are just a few that come to mind for me.
There are also places in our lives where being “comfortable” is a detriment. Becoming comfortable missing a workout, taking the elevator instead of stairs or eating fast food because it’s convenient. Getting so “comfortable” in our personal relationships that we quit doing the little things that attracted us to one another, the small look, the compliments and going on dates. Finding so much comfort in the ebbs and flows of daily life that we forget the dreams and goals that we are no longer pursuing.
Don’t let being “comfortable” rob you of your ambitions and aspirations. Don’t let being “comfortable” keep you from trying new things and meeting new people. Don’t let being “comfortable” allow you to forget about who you dreamed you would become!
