Look at the people in your lives that you spend the most time with.   Are they getting the best you have to offer?  Are you helping them become better?  Are you honest with them?

I’m shocked at times with how dishonest we have become in many of our closest relationships. We start going through the motions in these relationships that once meant the world to us. It becomes hard to see the good in them, our focus is drawn to their flaws, faults and our frustrations. Yet, the stranger, the new person we just met, will get our best smile, our best intentions and the benefit of the doubt because we are seeking to create a good impression and get them to like us in return.

I ask all of us to reflect on our relationships and challenge ourselves to avoid going through the motions with those that truly matter most!
